CERT Training is Continuing This Month
The attached flyer will explain more about the CERT program.
All classes are FREE to persons age 16 and above. We need more
trained CERTS in our neighborhood; it's easy and fun to learn.

Poetry Gardens Townhomes Use Permit
On August 20, the City of Concord Planning Commission
held a Public Hearing for approving the Use Permit
and Design Review for 28 townhomes at 1250 Detroit Avenue.
We will discuss the Design Review and Conditions for Approval.

National Night Out Twenty-Fifth Anniversary
We had over 50 attendees at our big Block Party this year, and want
to thank all those who helped. We had an excellent speaker,
Mike Houston, who gave a presentation and demonstration on
Emergency First Aid.
