AGENDA
Welcome and Introductions
Naval Weapons Station Reuse Update The Concord City Council will hear the Navy's current presentation at the February 6th meeting, held at 6:30 p.m. Dave Pitman will tape that televised meeting, and will discuss some of what's going on to those who have questions about events leading to our present standing.
National Night Out - Planning Even though it's only February, we need to make some decisions early enough to plan for the event. Some themes that have been mentioned are: Pirates, Nautical, and Old West. So please think about this, and bring your ideas to this meeting.
Punxsutawney Phil Groundhog Day was yesterday, and Phil didn't see his shadow. Folklore tells us: That means spring will arrive early this year. In Punxsutawney, Pa., they're expecting a cold weekend, but those of us here in good ol' Concord, Ca., can start cleaning up, fixing up and pruning, now that the worst weather is over (we hope). We expect to have our Neighborhood Cleanup, "Dumpster Day", in early June.
